Is the exciting new radio drama

Based on the true story.

Weaving history with imagination, this is a holiday story about hometown loyalty and love, the power of literature, and the wisdom of youth.

A collaborative project with the Onondaga Historical Association, PBS/NPR station WCNY, and the Syracuse University Department of Drama, the story by Johanna Beale Keller will be directed by Ricky Pak and taped live for broadcast during the 2026 holiday season.
